During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Design on Edge was busy helping dozens of small businesses stay afloat and offering their services in a new way to help the community. Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed. During 2022
Reno ADDY Awards presented by the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation earned eight awards in the advertising, web design, and graphic design categories.
The ADDYs recognize the best-of-the-best in advertising with award recipients submitting powerful work that stood out in the community in 2021. This year, the award show was held inside the Reno Convention Center’s grand ballroom. Design on Edge was honored to receive recognition for the work done, much of which was for community-based programs.
“Having our work recognized during such a critical year, while our company was working virtually, made this meaningful,” said Courtney Meredith, owner of Design on Edge. “At Design on Edge, we strive to be a collaborative and creative force and responsible member of our community while remaining committed to the organizations we love. We responded immediately to the crisis to represent the marketing efforts of the Riverwalk District, a collation of more than 75 businesses directly affected by the business shutdowns, in addition to more than 20 other companies in our area. Ultimately, we have become a resource for our peers, the media, and small businesses.”
The notable project’s Design on Edge received awards for Nevada Green Business Network Annual Report, Saint Mary’s Center for Health, and Getaway Reno-Tahoe Magazine.
The ADDYs are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local competitions. The competition’s mission is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
